Grasslands Public Schools and Brooks Community Football Association (BCF) are honoured to receive a generous donation of $100,000 from Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) to support the development of the community's new outdoor multi-sport field complex. Specifically, CNRL’s donation will fund the purchase and installation of a new state of the art electronic scoreboard.
BJHS principal and BCF joint fundraising chair, Jaret Hofer explained, “CNRL’s generous partnership and commitment to the community will greatly enhance the athletes’ and spectators’ experience while participating in football, soccer and other athletic opportunities. This donation is an incredible gift to our community.” Grasslands board chair, Pat Connor added, “This donation from CNRL once again demonstrates how incredibly fortunate we are to live in the City of Brooks and County of Newell. CNRL’s ongoing commitment to youth in this area has been impactful and sincerely appreciated over the years. We are so grateful for this new partnership!”
