Instructional Coach Announcement - Cherri-Lynn Kohlman

We are pleased to announce that Cherri-Lynn Kohlman has accepted the role of Instructional Coach for the 2026-2027 school year.

Cherri-Lynn’s extensive teaching experience, strong background in inclusive education, and commitment to supporting student success make her an excellent fit for this position.

Cherri-Lynn brings 30 years of teaching experience, including 20 years with Grasslands Public Schools. During her time with Grasslands, she has supported students and staff at Brooks Junior High School and Rolling Hills School, with experience in student support, STEM, inclusive programming, and K-9 teaching.

Throughout her career, Cherri-Lynn has demonstrated a strong commitment to instructional leadership, collaboration, and supporting diverse learners. Her experience includes mentoring teachers, supporting inclusive programming, leading student support work, integrating technology to enhance teaching and learning, and using data-informed practices to strengthen student outcomes. She has also been involved in divisional work through the Grasslands Numeracy Committee and SEL Committee.

Cherri-Lynn holds a Bachelor of Education with Distinction and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Victoria. She is also currently completing her Master of Education in Educational Technology through the University of British Columbia.
