We are pleased to announce that Joanne Decker has accepted the role of Vice Principal at Brooks Composite High School.
Joanne brings extensive experience in education, having worked as a classroom teacher, Learning Support Teacher, and two years as an Acting Vice Principal. She has spent many years supporting students and staff at Griffin Park School and previously worked at Bassano School as a Fine Arts Specialist and classroom teacher.
Joanne brings strong instructional and school leadership experience, with a focus on inclusive programming, Collaborative Response, student support, and building positive relationships across the school community. She holds a Bachelor of Education, Leadership Quality Standard Certification, and a Master of Education in Educational Research from the University of Calgary.

Joanne will officially assume the role of Vice Principal at Brooks Composite High School at the start of the 2026-2027 school year.
