Assistant Principal Announcement - Brenda Morris, Bassano School
We are pleased to announce that Brenda Morris has accepted the role of Assistant Principal at Bassano School.
Brenda brings a wealth of experience with 19 years in education, working primarily at the elementary level. She has taught at Alcoma School, Griffin Park School, Eastbrook Elementary School and Duchess School, where she has been a valued member of the school community since 2018.
Brenda holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Lethbridge. She has also completed leadership development through Grasslands, served as Acting Vice Principal at Duchess School, mentored student teachers, and has experience with teacher supervision, peer coaching, literacy and numeracy programming, and supporting diverse learners.

Brenda will officially assume the role of Assistant Principal at Bassano School at the start of the 2026-2027 school year.
