Nomination Period open for the Grasslands School Board Election
The nomination period is now open for candidates running in the next general election for school board trustees on Monday, October 18, 2021.
Nomination papers must be filed at the Grasslands Central Office by September 20, 2021. All candidates must provide Form 4 which includes the signatures of 5 electors eligible to vote in the election in accordance with sections 27 and 47 of the Local Authorities Election Act and sections 4(4) and 74 of the Education Act.
Candidates can call 403-793-6700 to book an appointment to drop off their nomination forms at Grasslands Central Office (745 2n d Ave East, Brooks)
COVID-19 Safety Measures
All visitors to Grasslands Central Office must ensure they are symptom free. A limit of two people will be allowed to attend an, appointment - the candidate and one other person. All individuals attending must wear a mask and use the available hand sanitizer. ·
