Grasslands Public Schools has developed a program to introduce Kindergarten students to riding the school bus.

With this in mind we have developed a special bus ride for these young students. On Wednesday, August 26, 2009, we will operate bus routes within the City of Brooks for one morning trip. We use the regular bus stops and then have the Kindergarten children and their parents board the bus at these stops. Parents and the children ride to Central School. When they reach the school everyone gets off the bus and practices using the correct route to enter the school. When they get back on, parents are requested to sit in the back and the children sit up front where they would usually sit. (view photos)
